Advanced Natal Chart Interpretation Course (Vedic Astrology Level 3)
Option 1 - Advanced Natal Chart Interpretation Course (Vedic Astrology Level 3)
This Advanced Natal Chart Interpretation is a total gem. The techniques you have come to know more at Foundation level all come into brilliance and life now. You will develop power and clarity in your insight into a chart. Your knowledge will greatly increase as will the vastness of your perception
The direction of study is clear and straightforward: as always in my courses, each item of study is referred to two charts: yours and mine. This is to keep the interpretation grounded and authentic by linking it to the lives of two flesh and blood people.
And, as always, the whole project is geared to healing and empowerment.
Always the formulaic or legalistic style of vedic Astrology is avoided in favour of perception of the highest possibilities of each state of energy or consciousness that Vedic Astrology so accurately declares.
As always, there is most caring support.
There are course webinars as well.
Always Options are taught with the possibility of western astrology crossover if you wish:
To mention just a few of the focuses of study: this advanced study includes such facets of Vedic Astrology as:
Yogas; our Navamsa chart covering spiritual and relationship dimensions of our lives (and other Divisional or ‘varga’ charts).
Pushkara planet status: identifying ‘weak links’, in the purification of which you will come to great success in matters relating to its function.
Ashtamamsha: this is when a planet is placed 8th House in the Navamsha chart from its position in the rashi birth chart. This is so useful to identify as it will point to tensions of disconnection between rashi and navamsha chart that need to be healed.
64th Navamsha and 22nd Drekkana are important to study and know as these are difficult points in the chart compromising the energy of their ruler, and malefic when activated by transit. Such transits carry special health implications.
Vimshopak: We study the important and eye-opening analysis of the strength of our planets as revealed by the spread of the Divisional Charts. You learn such a lot about the strength of your planets from this exercise.
Bhadaka: Most importantly, there is a house that has the nature of a block in your life for each Ascendant sign, and the planetary Ruler of the Bhadak House is compromised too. We note and analyse the Bhadaka house for each of our charts and the effect on this of that House’s ruler: The Bhadakesh.
Panchanga – Tithi : Moon Phase: We study the effect of the phase of the Moon we were born under. This is very significant in our lives.
Planets as Karakas or Indicators: We study Natural Indicators called Naisargika Karakas (For example Sun = Father; Moon = Mother; 7th House = Marriage), as well as the Sthira or Fixed Indicators, and then the utterly wonderful Chara Karakas) movable indicators which are different for each life such as for example our Atmakaraka or ‘Soul Indicator’ and Dara Karaka or ‘Love script indicator’, and of course we examine how these two relate to each other (or don’t!).
Retrograde Planets: Vakri Graha: it is crucially important to learn how a planet will manifest in your life if it is retrograde in your birth chart – and learn what you can do about it.
Arudha Lagna is very useful to understand. Where our Arudha Lagna falls in our birth char shows how we will appear to the world and be seen by the world, and transits to Arudha Lagna are important in our lives.
Gulika and Maandi are the shadow children of Saturn: we learn how to interpret their effect in our lives, and at what times, from their positions in our birth charts.
… and many more advanced techniques as well.
This Course Option is part of my Advanced Vedic Astrology Course, so you do need to know something about Vedic astrology in order to be able to do it. I do have earlier Vedic astrology courses: there's my Foundation Level 1 Master Vedic Astrology Course and my Level 2 Nakshatras Advanced Course if you need to do introductory study.
I offer you the caring one-to-one teaching based on the Oxford Tutorial system that I myself benefited from in the 1960s. I have five university degrees including an M.A. from Oxford University. Oxford University specialises in the Oxford Tutorial method which is totally individual and designed to bring out the very best in your learning. My postgraduate degrees include psychology and sociology. I have deeply studied spiritual forms and pathways. For five years I worked in a university-based social anthropological field study focussing on individuals and communities/institutions following spiritual paths new to the modern West. I now run a Healing Centre in Foxford in County Mayo in the West of Ireland together with my partner: Healer Maggie Pashley. I specialise in good dialogue with my students and ensure that they are always fully helped to find the right information and approach to suit their needs.
